Application for Recognition as a UNESCO Club

Thank you very much for your interest in forming a UNESCO Club! As a Member State of UNESCO, the United States is eligible to host UNESCO clubs. These clubs take a variety of forms – depending by whom and under what circumstances they are created – and are able to tap into the global network of UNESCO clubs, as they wish.
The United States Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centers and Associatons (USFUCA) works to coordinate UNESCO Clubs, Centers, and Associations in the United States. While the USFUCA acts as a liaison with UNESCO groups in the U.S., recognition constitutes no official endorsement by the U.S. Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Center and Associations. Organizations listed as members are not official U.S. government organizations; they and their members are responsible for their own activities.
If you would like to form a UNESCO club within the U.S., please complete and submit the application below and also send a copy of your bylaws (if any) and executive committee members to clubs@unescoUSA.org or by fax at 240-536-9199. Please contact us if you have any questions or comments.
